1987 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Sunroof Coupe Venetian Blue Metallic with a blue leather interior 101,000 Miles. I purchased this car in the spring of 2013 to use as a driver for the summer and fall. The car was great but now it is time to move on, I had my fun and I really enjoyed it. The car runs well and never let me down during the times I drove it, but has some needs, sunroof does not work, worked when I first got it then stopped, windshield gasket needs to be replaced(the trim is off but I have it), I purchased the replacement but I have not put it in, passenger side window works intermittently, AC does not blow cold, the brake warning and seat belt light plastic warning light on the dash is broken, I have the replacement but I have not put it in. Sometimes when the car is started cold, it blows out smoke. There are tiny bubbles on the door jamb on the drivers side near where the sill plate ends. On the inside of the trunk above the battery on the side also has a spot that the paint is coming off of and there is surface rust there. The dash has a crack in it.
I have the warrenty and service book which shows that the car was sold new on 3.6.87 out of Fairfield Connecticut Porsche. The service book is stamped up to 7,100 Miles. I then have service records which pick up at about 80,000 Miles, and there are records for such things as shocks, brakes. I was told the clutch was done but I do not have a receipt for that. The car has the tool kit with it and the jack is present, I also have the plastic owners manual pouch and the service book, with no owners manual. The car has new tires on it. Car fax shows it was a two owner car. It also says the car was in an accident.The title is clean and not marked salvage. I asked the former owner who said it was only a minor accident in the passenger side rear quarter panel. Overall the car shows very good with some chips on the front lower nose but otherwise it looks good. I think this is a good car that you can drive around and enjoy, if you get motivated you can do somethings to it to bring it to the next level.
