This is a very correct, rare and desirable 1967 Maserati Ghibli Coupe with it’s original 4.7 liter motor and 5 speed transmission, plus factory air conditioning and the rare and highly desirable wire wheels. The Maserati Ghibli has often been referred to as the most beautiful sports/GT car of all time. Additionally, they offer outstanding performance, comfort (basketball star Wilt Chamberlain owned one), and ease of driveability. The V-8 motor feels very much like an American Muscle Car, with loads of torque. Plus it has high end horsepower, so it has the best of both worlds. This car is in very nice condition throughout, with only 39,000 Miles. Incredibly, it’s been with the same owner for 37 years, since 1971, when the car was almost new! The color combination of dark blue paint and red leather is beautiful. The body is very straight and rust free, which is important with Ghiblis, since they had no rust proofing when new. The car runs and drives well and makes very good power. Like any old car, there’s always a few minor flaws- the chrome is lifting on the edge of the rear bumper (see photo), in some places the chrome on the wire wheels is flaking and there is some rust on the spokes, the floor carpets show some wear, and there’s a flaw on the dash- that’s it! Otherwise the car shows VERY nicely.
