1943 Schwimmwagen Exactly 15,125 VW Type 166 better known as Schwimmwagens were manufactured
during World War II by Germany and used as Amphibious field vehicles. At the conclusion of
the war, all the vehicles that could be found were crushed or used for target practice by the
Allied Forces. Consequently less than 200 survive today. This is the second example that I
have had for sale.
