1965 Porsche 912 Coupe Signal Red with Black Leatherette interior with Grey Corduroy Cloth inserts. Numbers matching car with COA on hand, very early production of April 6, 1965. 902/1 5 speed transmission. Rare Painted 5 gauge dash. Purchased 1st in Germany by Famous Movie Actress Elke Sommer who was the first owner,then the car spent the rest of its life in California. Extensive documentation from registrations and service history comes with the car. Interior is nice and fresh looking, exterior of car has several flaws in the paint but has a nice patina to it.There is a spot of rust on the car on the passenger side(see photo) but otherwise the car is solid, the page mentioned below has many underside shots that show the condition of the underside and every other part of the car, if you are serious please make the effort to look at the photos! Car runs very nicely and feels great on the road. This is a very early example of the Porsche 912(probably within the first 40 cars made), if this were a 1965 Porsche 911 it would be multiple six figures. The Porsche 912 is a great value in a useable vintage car that is very easy to live with and really great fun to drive!
